Mayor and Board of Aldermen
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen serve as the elected governing body of the City of Bland.
Together, they establish City policies, adopt ordinances, approve the municipal budget, and make decisions regarding City services, infrastructure, public safety, and community priorities.

Regular meetings of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen are held:
Date: 2nd Monday of every month, except for holidays. If the 2nd Monday falls on a holiday, the meeting will be held the following Monday.
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Bland City Hall, 209 W. Kansas City Street
Meeting dates and times may change. Please review the posted agenda or contact City Hall to confirm an upcoming meeting.
Members of the public are welcome to attend open meetings of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen.
Residents who wish to address the Board should contact City Hall before the meeting to ask about the City’s public-comment procedures or to request placement on the agenda.

2026–2027 City Tax Information
The City of Bland makes current tax information available to residents, businesses, and members of the public.
The 2026–2027 tax document lists a total sales tax rate of 9.600%, consisting of Missouri, Gasconade County, and City of Bland sales taxes. The document also lists a 2.000% domestic utility tax rate, including water.
